... am still in the army, still on active duty (!), and still in the medical hold unit Warrior Transition Brigade/Unit/Limbo/Purgatory.

but--am back in Arlington, VA after an extended vacay up at Walter Reed (WRAMC) in northwest DC. i call it WallyWorld b/c it's so gosh-darn fun.

both army-life and web-life have been less paranoia-inducing since getting a new Commander-In-Chief in january; still, after so much time in the medical/physical evaluation system (MEB/PEB)--benefits, health & future hinging on a seemingly endless series of tests, appointments & silly paper forms--it's tricky to try to coax oneself out of virtual hibernation.

will work on that as change becomes more tangible.
